i knew that this dress would suit my wife well, but when she walked in wearing it with a pair of red pointed flats… i was stunned. i felt like i was looking at a girl working at some 1940’s parisian café, or looking at the pinup art on the side of an airplane back in ww2. the drape is excellent. she loves the lining because it always rests exactly where it’s supposed to. the length is perfect. long enough that she can wear it to work, but short enough to still be fun. the shoulders are accentuated without being gaudy, treated like an afterthought, or screaming for attention. it’s a frame for a work of art. thank you very much for providing such a beautiful dress. and the joy we both felt in that moment. magic.
