I was a little hesitant to order this at first because all of the models are so thin. The dress looks lovely on the model but I have thicker thighs, wide hips, and I don't have a flat stomach. For reference, I'm 5'3 and weigh roughly 130-135lbs. I usually wear a size 6 or 8. I carry most of my extra weight in my thighs, hips, and stomach. I was really worried that I would look frumpy, squat, and wide in this dress. But I was so pleasantly surprised by the fit. I got a medium and it was the perfect size. It really flattered my waist and bust. I can tell it will be forgiving even with post-meal bloat because it flares out a little after the waistline. I feel so confident wearing it. The dress is so delicate and feminine. There is so much stunning detail in the dress. The hem is this beautiful, delicate green lace (I bought the dress in 'Apricot'). It's the perfect summer dress, but it also goes great with a cardigan for cooler days. I love that the hemline isn't even all around - it gives a really fairy-like whimsical feel. It's the cottagecore dress of my dreams lol. The dress hits right above to right below my knees because of the varying length of the hemline. It's the perfect length because you don't have to worry about bending over and it also doesn't hit mid-calf which usually makes my calves look like tree trunks lol. Also the straps are adjustable!!I really cannot recommend this product enough. I am SO happy with my purchase. I bought a few other items along with this dress. It shipped April 6th which I think was 1-2 business days after purchase. It arrived on April 12th. It was SUCH a quick delivery especially considering I'm in the US!
